Attorney Christa Kirk is the founder of Kirk Law Firm, P.C., where she focuses her practice on family law, criminal defense, and personal injury matters throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area. Christa is deeply committed to using her experience, knowledge, and determination to assist individuals during some of the most challenging and vulnerable moments of their lives. She believes that practicing law is not only about advocacy but also about service—providing clients with guidance, hope, and relief from the burdens they face during difficult times.
Christa is particularly passionate about matters involving children and families. She strives to help parents understand how the manner in which they navigate divorce and other family challenges can have a lasting impact on their children. Her goal is to support families in reaching outcomes that prioritize the well-being of those most affected.
A seasoned and accomplished litigator, Christa brings extensive courtroom experience to her practice. After earning her law degree from Georgia State University College of Law, she joined the Gwinnett County District Attorney’s Office, where she served as an Assistant District Attorney Supervisor. During her nearly decade-long tenure, she prosecuted a wide range of criminal cases on behalf of Gwinnett County, developing the litigation skills and strategic insight that continue to distinguish her in private practice today. Her background as a prosecutor has made her a formidable advocate in the courtroom.
Christa’s professional excellence has earned her recognition as a Super Lawyer and as one of the Top 50 Women Attorneys in the State of Georgia. She also values her role as a Guardian ad Litem, where she assists the court in determining what is in the best interests of children involved in legal proceedings.
While litigation is one of Christa’s greatest strengths, she also recognizes when negotiation and strategic resolution serve her clients best. She is highly skilled at advising clients on the most effective path forward based on their unique circumstances.
Outside of her legal practice, Christa enjoys spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren. She has a love for the water and often spends her free time at the beach or by the lake. Christa is also dedicated to giving back to her community through volunteer service. She serves as a Mock Trial Coach at North Gwinnett High School, where her team has achieved notable success in recent years.
